I’ve worked as a data scientist and in analytics for 15 years. I live in London, originally from Stockport and I have two young kids.
When my first was born I googled everything and joined a bunch of different Instagram accounts about parenting.
The amount of conflicting points, emotive language, rage-bait and angry comments just made those places the absolute worst to spend my time on.
I wanted one calm, grounded place that would give me the same answer my health visitor would – sourced from NHS and NICE guidance, not blogs and influencers. I also wanted answers quickly, with context about my particular family. So I turned my analytics skills to building it.
Hello Poppins sits in WhatsApp because that’s one less app to download and think about. It’s just there in your contacts, ready when you need it at 3am, in the GP waiting room, or when your toddler has just done something that definitely wasn’t in any of the books.
I’ve designed this to be super convenient and laser focused on giving solid, grounded, verified advice. It’s also as economical as possible, about 80% cheaper than ChatGPT Plus but with stronger reasoning, and 6 months of unlimited questions (and no random information from the internet swamp).
Every answer traces back to NHS guidance, NICE clinical guidelines, RCPCH recommendations, or peer-reviewed research. If a trusted source doesn’t support a claim, it doesn’t appear in an answer.
